I'm making my son chocolate covered Oreos for his birthday as one of the treats. I never have added any sprinkles before only designs. how are they getting the sprinkles to stick all around the edges so perfectly?! I figured one of you would know. I was thinking clear piping gel and than dipping once dried? but I'm not so sure. Thank you How Do They Get The Sprinkles To Stay Like This? How Do They Get The Sprinkles To Stay Like This?

Yes, piping gel! Don’t wait until it’s dry, though.  Brush your gel on and then coat away!

When I look carefully, it appears the sprinkles are not on the cookie at all, but on a circle of fondant that has been added to the cookie.  Perhaps fondant circles (these appear to be about 1/4 inch thick) are cut, allowed to dry overnight, then the sprinkles applied.  Once the piping gel or other adhesive has dried, apply the circles to the cookies.
