Hoping someone can help me out. I wanted to give out mini fruitcake to our neighbors this year. The cake s seemed fine last night but this morning the tops are very dry. The rest of the cakes are moist and tastes surprising good. Will wrapping the cakes in cheese cloth soaked in bourbon help? Or do I need to start over? Thanks
