Just need quick help on the order to stack... this is my cake, bandanas are fondant.
From bottom is it...
cake, fondant, plate? Or cake, plate, fondant?
do I cut out a spot for the plate in the fondant so the next layer sits flush against the fondant?
I’m over thinking. Sorry. Help?
You should go to YouTube and check out how to stack a cake. This may help you: DO NOT CUT YOUR CAKE. Center your plate in middle of cake and make indentions from the bottom of plate
Cake plate needs to go in as soon as you have your fondant smoothed out and no air bubbles present. Take the cake plate and put in place, stack then the next. You may know this....measure support "legs" first flush with the fondant, cut, then place on plate then to cake.
