So I'll be making some cupcakes with little fondant ballerina toppers next week. They are due Friday. How soon would you make the toppers so they can stand up in the cupcake frosting? Also do you have any tips and tricks for decorating cupcakes with fondant toppers? E.g. how long to dry, how to store until use? Amount of tylose to ensure they stand and dont fall from moisture from the frosting. Attached is a picture of what they should look like. Thanks in advance!

You can make them any time from now on.  How long to dry depends on your weather conditions and how thick you make them but generally just a day or two and they should be solid.  How much tylose?  Again depends -  how much fondant you are working with -  generally a teaspoon per tennis ball size fondant should be more than enough - maybe even 1/2 tsp.  How to store - anywhere out of light - in a cool dry cupboard is great.  Store them flat.  I sometimes put them into a flat shirt box or you could use a cake box.  They can be layered w/wax paper between but if you have room to store all of them flat single layer,  don't :)
