Can anyone tell me how to make gold dots on buttercream cake?
Have you thought about cutting the dots from fondant? I have used sponge stipplers to get dots on, and they come in all sizes. Walmart has them in the art section.
You can mix gold dust w/vodka (or simular) and paint each one on.
