I Don't Think This Site Likes Me.... :/

I've been coming to this site for a while since googling for ideas, techniques, etc would often direct me to this page. So yesterday I decided to join so I could engage in the forums, post pics, etc. I got registered, activated my account, updated my info and even uploaded 2 pics of a cake from this past weekend without problem. I attempted to login again later and I received an error message telling me that my account wasn't activated (which I thought was weird because I obviously already had) so I went back to my email to "activate" my account. When I did that I got an error message saying my account was already active. But, yet again, when I entered my log-in info it said my account wasn't active. After a few round robins of this I emailed the help email address (they responded saying they would be back with me as soon as possible but haven't received any further emails yet) and gave it a rest for the night. Tried again this morning and got the same thing. Finally attempted from my laptop (previously had been on my phone) and I finally was able to log in and saw that my photo was on the front page for one of the featured pics of the day, WOOP WOOP (I thought it was cool anyway!). Anyway, I saw my photo had a comment so I clicked on it. Once I went out and tired to go back into my gallery it said I had no pictures! :( So after a few minutes of pouting I figured I had somehow deleted it so I added the pics, and info, etc, again. And I went back in and its GONE AGAIN. :( Is the site having issues or does it just not like me?? I love the concept of the page, all the info that everyone provides and seeing all the awesome pics but I am getting very frustrated!
I have good days and bad days with it, so don't think it's just you :)
For example, today I can't use emojis for some reason. No clue why. Some days I can't post pictures in the forums, other days it's fine. It's a little adventure each time I come on here! Lol, but I can see it could get frustrating.

Oh I understand your frustrations. I have been on here for over 6 yrs and last week it wouldn't let me log in, change my password because it said what I was trying to log in with wasn't right etc, etc. The next day all was well again and has been now for about a week - sure hope it keep that way.
Hey guys, I just wanted to chime in for a moment.. We have been having some problems with our caching system and thumbnail service, which has been affecting the gallery, login.. and well .... most of the site.
I just finished rolling out some updates a few minutes ago, and the site is already running much smoother.
@CheatDayTreats are you able to see your cakes in your gallery now?
