I don't know about the rest of the world but in the last 24 hours I saw gas prices go up 52 cents icon_eek.gificon_surprised.gif

Yesterday, during my lunch hour gas was at $2.77, after work it was $2.99, this morning on my way to work it was $3.09 and after work today it was $3.29. I dread going out in the morning...it will probably be up to $3.59.

How are the gas prices in your areas??

Are we talking premium no lead or regular no lead? At Costco I paid $2.86 per gallon, which was actually pretty cheap in CA. But it cost me almost $60.00 to fill the tank of the mini van. Hubby has a little Aspire, so he can get by on about $20.00 every two weeks. Of course, since I don't have to drive to work and most of my driving takes me no more than 5 or 6 miles from home on the days that I do drive, a tank will last me about a month.

Gas here in my part of Kansas is back up to $2.86 today. That's the highest price I've seen around town. I drive a Ford Expedition and consolidate my errands and don't go if I don't have to. Been kind of enjoying that actually. Now that I got laid off my job I get to save even more fuel. There's a good and bad side of that.

I'm in Pennsylvania....and gas is going up from $2.79 to $2.85 so far and rising.... I don't know why they want such high gas pricing... they make enough off of it....in our state we're taxed $.30 on every gallon we buy.....ugh....I like the good ole $.99 a gal days, and I thought that was bad when it went to that...lol...

Since thursday prices have averaged a 40 cent increase. Before that they were going down. The lowest on Thursday morning I saw was $2.59. It is up over $3.00 again. Unleaded prices

Is there something that happened on thursday that I missed that is making these prices jump up again?? I know I don't watch TV, but i do listen to the radio and check news online and I don't remember seeing anything about another disaster of any sorts, or maybe i'm just blind.

Usually Diseal is cheaper thatn gas here (expecially along Interstate 80) But last night it was $3.10

Well here in Canada the gas prices are sold by the litre.A 4- litre jug of milk is just slightly smaller than the US Gallon. The prices have been fluctuating around the country also but here in Calgary you can still find some gas stations selling it for about $1.00 a litre which is about $3.50 a gallon I guess....still not cheap but better than other cities!!

It's $2.99 right now here in Union City, TN. We're ALWAYS the highest of anywhere around. Anytime I go to Memphis, which is a little over 2 hours away, I try and wait until I get at least out of town, because there is never anywhere that is higher than the gas stations here.

I'm in Southside VA and yesterday $2.84 was the cheapest. DH takes the car, better mileage, while the kids are out of school. Between him, me and my mom, we all try to get our errands done together.

That was neat that you brought this post back up da_goof. Looking back at what I wrote in 05' prices haven't changed as much as I thought they did! I had $2.77 back in 05' & now today it's $2.89. Not much of a difference. I guess we might be getting used to the increases. I can't imagine paying $3.33 for it though! Wow! Glad you bumped this topic up!
