Hi guys,

I am making a cake for my dad's birthday on Friday. I plan to cover in fondant. To save time, I went ahead and made the cake Monday, torted, filled, then dirty iced, wrapped with several layers of saran wrap and froze it.  I need to probably put the fondant on Thursday and paint... how do I go about this given my circumstances? I may have gone about this wrong... first timer... but I do still need to decorate it on Thursday and somehow store overnight and most of the next day as we will be busy all day Friday up until the party.

Let it thaw, then drape fondant and paint?  How do I then wrap it back up and prepare to serve it for Friday afternoon?

thanks all!

Yes, let it thaw before covering w/fondant.  Once it's decorated do not wrap - just leave at room temp.  Best if boxed and put in a safe place :)
