I went to the doctors today to follow up on some test results, they found a mass in my lung. The doctors want to do surgery right away. So it will be a while til I can get back on CC and back to my baking. I know that everyone here is so great so if you could say a pray for me I would appriate it.

This would be the time to stock up on cake decorating books and magazines and bone up on things...make a wish list...call people.

Just as everyone wondered and worried about the safty of our fellow CC members just a few weeks back, I am sure we will all be thinking of you too in this time of need.
The power of prayer is an awsome thing!
You need to have a positive mind and know and believe you will be strong. We will be praying to God to give you strength.
The CEO of our company has been battling breast cancer (I am in no way saying you have cancer, just an eg) for atleast 15 years. She has had both breast removed, goes to the US ever so often for chemo, but she looks and feels more healthy that us. We always wonder how she is able to do all this and she travels a lot for work and really works hard and she is surviving. She once told us that's it's the streak of defiance in her that has made her so strong and she has pledged to hereself never to give up.
Just be strong and hang in there.

I will definitely say prayers for you. I don't know if you caught Oprah today, but they had Melissa Etheridge on, who has just recovered from breast cancer, and she had some wonderfully inspiring things to say about her ordeal...the biggest is that people give cancer too much power, and that it's worth the fight. It was a really good interview, worth checking out. Nonetheless, I will pray for a most positive outcome for you.
