Well, you could top it with canned cherry or blueberry  or apple pie filling and maybe some whipped cream for your own home use? Or drizzle maple syrup and whipped cream ?

Though not with cheesecake, I have missed adding sugar to a cake before.  My most recent mistake?  Read 1 1/2 sticks of butter as 1 1/2 cups, did this not once but twice before realizing what I had done. Cakes had almost a pound of good chocolate in them. Expensive mistake.

We all have those days.  Good luck.

you could ice it too

you could also bake off a real short cheesecake layer and put enough sweetener in there to help flavor the other -- but i would only serve this to family not for a client -- i'd redo it for a client --

I forgot the salt in a giant batch of bread once -- it was awful -- had to do the whole thing over took a long time when i should have been off work! proofing etc -- it happens -- terrible but i feel yah

best to you
