AHello everyone! I am sort of a new baker and need help finding a butter cream frosting recipe as close to how grocery store cakes would have it. It's my sisters birthday and it is her favorite! Anything will help, thanks!

used to i didn't even measure anything i just tossed it all together for abc -- american buttercream -- and beat the h out of it  but over the years i refined my deal and i wound up using the same formula that colette peters uses which is 2# confectioner's sugar, 1# fat, 1/2 cup liquid some vanilla & salt -- and i mix on slow to reduce the air bubble factor

best to you

Grocery store icing may be her favorite because she hasn't tasted anything better! :)

Try my "2 of everything icing" recipe.  Most people find it THE BEST:)     http://www.cakecentral.com/a/2-icing
