AIn tears this morning.... my huge feature rose has broken over night due to sheer weight. The wire came through and I did not see it coming it never happened before. I am panicing now as another has to be made and im so afraid and time is of the essence :(

Not sure how much time you have but the speed up the drying process, I turn the light on in the oven and place the gumpaste pieces in there.  Good luck

Is the rose beyond repair with a dab of RI and a swoosh of petal dust? Sorry if thats an obvious stupid remedy to a crisis.

I was also thinking can this be saved? Can you pull the wire back through, glue the underside with either RI or white choc (in a place where it can't be seen of course) and repair where the wire came through?

I had good luck with a repair with a mixture of egg white and gumpaste, as shown by Nicholas Lodge.  Make a thick paste and use to glue.
