I am new here, so if this has been done before, sorry.

Tonight my oldest needs cupcakes for tomorrow, After putting the batter in liners, I saw the milky ways on the table. I asked her if I could play with the cupcakes, she agreed after some talking her into it. I used a bite size candy bars and pushed them into the batter and the melted perfect. She loved them, a regular old everyday cupcake?????? Nope these have a warm, gooey center.

Just wanted to share.

That sounds soooo good! I wonder if you could do it with Snickers or 3 Musketeers bars too.

I don't see why you couldn't use any bite size candy bar. My next "wild hare" will probley be a full size cake with a candy bar filling. If anybunny tries it first I hope they post it on here.

Do you think cutting up a full size bar & putting in a cut up piece in the cupcake would work just as well?
Looks like I just may need to have a new adventure in my kitchen today!!!

Do you need to eat them warm? What happens if you let them cool completely? Does the chocolate solidify again???

We ate them warm at home...at school, I had her "nuke" them for a couple of min. She said everybunny loved them.

Let me know about cutting a reg bar, I was thinking that for a full size cake.
Have fun on the adventure and let me know.
