Okay so this lady contacted me after a month of baking her cake, she says that she wants to meet and wants me to taste the cake as it is not cooked. She kept the cake in the fridge after supposedly returning from an over seas trip. She has refridgerated the cake for the entire month from the 1 Feb 2014 up until NOW March and says the cake was not baked because it is doughy inside. Surely the cake is gone off that's why it is doughy but she fails to understand that. Why did she not contact me in the first place about it been undone now she threatens me with leagl action what do i do... cake experts does the cake go off???? what does it look like

A couple of days is one thing, a month is something else. The texture after a month is going to completely change. Any air that was in the cake will be gone. Tell her she waited way too long :duh:. What she has after a month in no way is going to resemble what you originally gave her.

Legal action? If your customer really wants to take you to small claims court, offer to go on :judge:Judge Judy. She will tear your customer apart, once she gets done laughing.

The filling probably just leached into your cake after it possibly separated from being in her fridge for A MONTH!  What!!??

What a dope!

And I love the Judge Judy reference!  LOL

Refrigerated for a month?  Gross!  I can't imagine eating it.  IMO,  A threat of legal action is hot air.  She is looking for free cake.

She wants to sue you for a soggy cake that's been in her fridge for a month? Let her try to find an attorney to take that case. Tell her that you'll countersue her for being a dumbass.

AUnfortunatly, being a dumb@$$ is NOT punishable by law.

If it were, 80% of the population would be behind bars.

AWhere's the Like button?

Month old cake? Now I really think I've heard everything. Srsly, I woukd have been laughing so hard on the phone, and saying, "no, really? No one would try to eat month old cake. Eww. Is this some sort of candid camera on the phone? Hahaha." Not joking about laughing right to/at the customer.

But I dont suffer fools easily.
