i know you can use any flowers on cakes, i am just looking for some enlightenment on what some of you favorite gumpaste flowers are for wedding cakes. tia

In the following order are what I have the most requests for: roses, hydrangeas, peonies

I receive requests for roses mostly, but I personally prefer the many different species of orchids that are out there. (They are my favorite flower to grow too) icon_biggrin.gif

Yes, it definately depends on the bride..I'd say roses, orchids and callas.

for me it is Roses, lilies, orchids that are most popular.

I love making roses and orchids , I often put freesias and jasmine in as filler flowers.

I like using lisianthus as an alternative to roses as well.
