I will be attending a bridal show in a few weeks and would appreicate any ideas or suggestions you may have from your past experiences. I will have a corner booth with two walls . It will be held for two days (Saturday and Sunday). Here are my ideas.......
One table will have a large cupcake stand displaying each of my cake flavors on each tier (i.e tier 1 french vanilla, tier 2 chocolate etc.)
A banner will be displayed on the back wall
4 cakes will be displayed on a 10 x 5 ft table
I have postcards printed instead of flyers
I was thinking raffling of a 6" cake on both days
Any other suggestions on thoughts?
Very nice.I went to a bridal show last year and a lot of couples were taking lots of pics of the cakes and mini cakes on display because they were so beautifully set up and displayed. Make sure you and your team have on branded outfits whether it is a chef jacket or branded top. Nothing sells professionalism like a branded chef jacket with your business name and your name. Smile and be interested in everyone who comes to you. You want to start building relationships there. Some of these people may come back to you to do their wedding cake. Hope all goes well. Having a portfolio on the table of work done will be great. Display your website, email, phone no. etc so ppl can reach you easily. Will you be giving our your cupcakes or they are just for display? If you are sharing cupcakes, you may not need to raffle cakes. I am always skeptical for many reasons of aligning my brand with a raffle but that is just me. Other ppl may feel different Good luck and have fun!
I have a running "slideshow" on a 19" TV of all of my cakes. I had a lot of interest not just in my wedding cakes but other cakes too.
