Hi All!

I am converting my den (which used to be a garage) into my cake room. What are the most essential items, tools, etc. that I need in the room? My husband is going to by me a fridge and I have been looking at galvanized metal tables to put in there. I know I need storage, but are cabinets necessary or can I just use shelves? This space is small, about 18' x 13'. All advice is welcome.

Thank you in advance!

I do hope you mean stainless steel and not galvanized tables. One certainly does NOT want galvanized.
Over all I think you might be happier w/cabinets but shelves would work also.

I would think cabinets would be best. They would close up and keep that powdered sugar cloud that forms when we make icing from settling all over EVERYTHING! icon_eek.gif
