Tired Of The Same Faces On Fn Challenge?

I dont know about anyone else, but I am so tired of seeing the same faces on Challenge. Dont get me wrong, they are very talented.....but it seems like it would be more interesting if FN used different contestants on every episode. I love seeing the new faces so much more! Just my thought for the day..... 
I'd like the challenges more if they were less about the 'extreme elements' and structures with rkt/fondant/modeling chocolate on them and more about actual cake again.
Yes, that too! Im not crazy about the little roadblock things they did on a few of the episodes either..... I mean they are there to make a cake for goodness sake!
Yep. I got the drama think, but I never rush out to see challenges any more. I dvr them, then when I have nothing else to watch I'll finally watch it.
Me too! And I hate it because that used to me my favorite show! Hopefully if enough people complain or ratings drop, they will change....
I doubt it will change. It just seems like it gets more out there every time.
I really don't care for many of the cake related shows, but there seems to be a market for them.
I am enjoying Top Chef Just Desserts though.
OMG! Heck yeah! Can't stand the "extreme" element or the roadblocks they throw up either. I just want to see a well decorated cake. I don't even watch them anymore. If I catch it and there is nothing else I want to watch, I'll watch it, or actually watch while still looking for something else to watch.
I'm tired of the same faces, too. I think after a certain number of appearances, there should be a forced "retirement" from Challenge. It starts to feel like some people are winning just because of who they are.
I have to say, though, my heart just ached for Michelle Garcia the other day. I remember being that exhausted and emotional after my daughter was born, and I just had 1 not 3! And I have a new great big crush on Vinnie for how he took care of her, even if flinging the cake to the floor was a tad (

As much as Michelle's tatoos etc bug me I could not help be feel sorry for her. She definately was suffering from post pardom(sp?) depression/stress!
I find them hard to watch now because of the just ridiculous things they throw in there.
Example: the Star Wars cake challenge. Decorate R2D2 blindfolded while someone tells you how to do it. Really?!? Give me a break.
And frankly I can't stand the host (Claire?).

Really? I guess it's not surprising. It's been on for several years now and the ratings must be down or they wouldn't keep making the challenges more and more difficult. I will admit to being a bit disappointed, though, even with it's drawbacks it's always been my favorite cake show. I was watching it before I even thought of cake decorating myself.
Me either! I know she is going to be fabulous! I hate to see Challenge go- I just wish they would take it back to what it was originally- and level the playing field with all newbies! Maybe I will send this thread to the producers- Hehehe! I mean look how excited we all are to see Edna!
