I'm still working on the wedding cake and have a quick question. Which comes first...quilting and drageees or stacking?

I quilt before I stack and then I pop the cake in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes to set the buttercream firm enough to stack without messing up the impression.
Then when you attach the dragees, you generally need a bit of glue behind them. Either a small dot of buttercream or piping gel will hold the dragee.
That's just my preference. I'm sure the professionals will pipe in
