Holy smokes! If I had gotten that for a "freebie" wedding cake I would have been over the moon happy with it! The MOB is nuts. I agree with everyone else. She was just trying to get the money back.

Thanks for all the support. I'm glad it's over and done with. She actually cashed the check! What nerve! This hasnt detered me from making cakes. I've decided to support Bake-A-Wish foundation and make cakes for people who I know will appreciate them. @ Jodi: The wedding cake in question is in my gallery. Its the one with the most comments. Baking in 100+ degree heat in Austin,TX and then giving the cake away for free....wow....horrible of that family.

Austin is not really *that* big of a town! I hope you don't run into this horrible family at HEB! LOL
