I need to make the tip of my cake smoke. Does anyone have a ideas on how to make my idea work? I've thought of dry ice but I'm not to knowledgeable on that. Also I thought of incense cones or sticks but am concerned about the cake smelling and tasting like incense.
Thanks

Incense will make your cake smell and taste like incense. I suggest you find out more about dry ice, because that's what is normally used for something like this.

Here's a very crude video of someone else using it to make a volcano. You can easily adapt it to your needs, maybe?
I hope that helps!

Here's an episode of Ace of Cakes that shows them using dry ice in their cake.

If you put dry ice in water, it will smoke just fine. you don't need anything fancy for that. Just remember that dry ice is VERY colder, colder than regular ice, so be careful.
