I am so glad I got in at the cheaper price. I knew there would be several people smacking their heads when the price went up...

Can't wait to get mine and play with it! Yay!!! icon_smile.gif

I really hate I missed the deadline. I let it slip away. Hopefully I can get the rest saved before shipping prices go up again

Wow! I'm sorry that I found this forum this late. I would have jumped on the 199.00 offer. icon_sad.gif

This lady should seriously pay me for advertising...lol. Anyways I just went to her site as I took the plunge and decided to buy a second one and she has launched a second promo. Not as cheap as the $199 original offer but until the first shipment ships which is June from what the site says, she is offering a secondary promotional offer of $239. I think the first 50 purchases at this price also get free shipping in the US...its like Christmas but early!!! Happy shoppingicon_smile.gif

You could just email her. She is very prompt with returning her emails. Tell her you would like to share her answer and she will compose something that can be copied. and put on CC.

I believe per the website the shipping date is June 24 or thereabouts.

Also glad I got in early!

Great idea, but, not her invention. I would rather spend the money on this one, instead of buying from someone who claims to have invented/patented this device, so that she can cash in on people who want an easy way to make large amounts of cake pops at one time. If you watch the video on her website, the device she uses looks exactly like this one:

http://www.pastrychef.com/MARZIPAN-ROLLERBOARD_p_1073.html#

I will be ordering one of these, even if the cost is higher. It makes more at a time anyways. It just doesn't seem right for someone to market it as her own creation...

Yes. It's a copy of the marzipan roller that I've seen so many times. Not sure how it can be patented. Maybe because the other one is from Italy?

Be careful, though. Those balls are pretty tiny, I think.

There's even a single roller made by PME; but balls are 1". Not sure if there's a bigger one.

The marzipan roller is only 3/4 inches...I am pretty sure the new one is 11/2 inches......Thats why it makes less they are Cake Pops. The other is for small marzipan fruit. Makes more of the smaller pieces

The Marzapan roller only rolls 3/4 inch, which is fine for sample sizes however the cake pop roller is 1 1/4. Plus it is interchangeable meaning as new inserts launch you can just buy the interchangeable pieces for bigger, smaller balls or even different shapes. I have talked to the owner quite a few times as I have purchased 2 units and she doesn't shy away from that question. She is very responsive. When I asked she didn't claim she invented anything, she claims she designed the interchangeable roller and that it is patent pending. Isn't the Marza more expensive anyway?

people order pops by the hundreds from me. right now Im actually having to employ someone JUST to roll them into balls for me! I make like 20 cakes , add my binders and crumble, then send them to her house and pick up a couple days later. she does a great job but its getting pricey for me so this roller is so going to come in handy! mine should be here soon...wish i had it sooner! I have 300 cake balls i need ready by thursday.
