I am doing an anniversary cake for friends (41st). I love the idea of 2 heart cakes joined together, but how do I join them? I want to do something similar to the attached pic. THANKS!

Either carve the whole thing out of a sheet cake (you can make a paper template) or if you have the heart pan, you carve an indention for one heart to fit the other.

IF you have the heart pans go that route (a lot less waste and carving) Just take your pan as a template and lay it over one heart to carve out, then slide the other cake in and ice as normal.
