I keep hearing about chocolate bacon. Michael Symon made some on Dinner Impossible and it's even been at state fairs and some chocolate shops. I could never bring myself to actually buy any though. I like them both, but never thought of combining them. I decided to give it a try when I had some friends over. They loved it. I can't decide if I loved it or hated it.

Wow, I guess you still can't get pictures to upload. Here's my chocolate bacon: http://cakecentral.com/gallery/1912446
I've made it. I love it. I love it. I love it. Did I mention that I love it? I made both the dark and milk chocolate bacon. Each has it's own properties. The dark brings out the smokiness in the bacon, while the milk brings out the salt. I prefer the milk chocolate bacon.

I had it at Wertz's candies in PA. It was the bomb. I like that the bacon is so crispy on the inside.
OH my YES!!!! Soooooooooooo good. Many, if not most people do like sweet & salty. I made some to add to my Christmas give aways.
Crisp cook bacon = I cut each strip of bacon into 4ths so the pieces were small.
One lady I gave some to went so far as to make some chocolate pepperoni! She said it went over well w/her guests.
