Hi there
I was so excited about my first cake attempt that I wanted to share it icon_smile.gif
It was for a house warming party icon_smile.gif

Also, I'm new to this site but I think the cakes that I'm seeing are extremely beautiful..and a bit intimidating..
There's definitely a bunch of talented people here icon_smile.gif

I used the Wilton- Stand up house pan

It was an experience...let me tell you LOL

Your house turned out wonderfully! I love that little house pan. I keep seeing cute ideas in the Wilton books using that pan and think that I have to try them out sometime soon. Good work! You're a natural!

Welcome to Cake Central. I love your cake. I keep thinking I need to get that pan! I was really intimidated at first but everyone here is great and I have learned a ton. It is fun to share our work with others that know what goes into it.

I also live in Jefferson County, actually the Fenton part of Jefferson County.

ICES is a cake decorating, sugar art international group that meets all over the US and other countries. It is a group of ladies like us that love to show our work and there are many ways of learning at these meetings. This meeting is 9/25 at the Viking at Lindbergh and Watson. If you have the time, it is worth it and you can meet lots of wonderful people and share ideas. It is similar to this forum. Many of these people belong to ICES. If you would like to go with me, we could meet there if it would make you more comfortable.
