I would like to know if the glycerine that we found in drug stores is the same as the one that Wilton sells. Is it edible?

Probably not. Look at the lable if it doesn't list glycerin as the ONLY ingredient then NO it isn't edible.
More than likely the one you bought in the pharmacy list "glycerin 99.5% and anhydrous" on the back of the lable.

Try your local health food store, they usually carry 100% pure vegetable glycerin cheaper and in larger quantity than Wilton's
