Okay, this may be a fixable disaster if someone can help me. I'm making a Gary the Snail (spongebob) cake for my son's bday tomorrow. I finally got the MMF right (yea!) and covered the cake. Now I have creases where the fondant meets on the edges of the cake. Is there anyway to work this out? Any help would be great. Thanks!

don't know how bad the creases are but have you tried wetting your finger a bit and trying to rub them out?

I did try wetting my finger and smoothing them out..didn't work. I thought I might let the fondant firm up and then try that again.

Hiya, my tutar always told us to warm our hands, and then just smooth away over the creases - the heat of your hands usually smooths them out - I think water leaves spots

You could also try a bit of shortening on your finger and then rub away the crease.
