My prego hormones are outta whack, but the picture of them keeps making me cry, I feel so bad for you girls. Glad that the both of you are okay, our prayers are with you & your staff as you move forward, and may you come back bigger & stronger then before.
I was just there Saturday in one of the classes! This is completely unreal. Mary is amazing, and they I know they will be able to come through this, larger than life. She is the sweetest gal, with a huge heart and amazing ambition. I am so sad to hear of this

Of course, you can now design an even more perfect shop,
but for now, this must hurt incredibly.
We all hope that the support you receive from friends, family and your extended "caking family" helps ease that hurt. Very sorry for your loss.
I had never heard of cakegirls untill now (new to decorating and live in the uk) but my thoughts are with them, thier staff, customers, friends and family. this must be such a terrible time for you. but im sure that you will be able to rebuild, and that your customers will remain loyal. at least no one got hurt! i wish you all the best. x x
Brenda and Mary, I am deeply saddened by your loss. God never puts more on you than you can bear.....although it may not seem like it at the moment but a phoenix shall rise from the ashes and the tradegy will not be in vain. My heart and prayers go out to you and your team.
The entire cake community--from the pros on down to the people just starting out in their kitchen--is behind you both and thinking of you.

Along with many others on here I was so saddened to hear of your loss. I have enjoyed watching both of you and your team on AWC for a long time. I know at this time words are not of much comfort, however, with your knowledge, talent, and each other you will come through this with flying colors and a whole world of folks cheering you on. My heart, thoughts, and prayers are with each and every one of you. You did it once....you will do it again!!!!

Oh gosh, I didn't see this thread and just started one of my own. Again, we feel your loss girls. I'm just shocked and devastated by this news.
I am so so so so SO sorry for the loss of your shop. You girls have been my inspiration since I've been living and decorating in Wisconsin and started my talent in 2007...my heart sunk when my husband texted me the news this morning and I just didn't think it was possible. I am so so sorry that all of your hard work was lost in the fire.
I do believe that you two are the heart of the cake world and will get back on your feet in no time. I will be thinking of you during your hard time and hoping and wishing that you will be able to open another shop. Big (((((((HUGS)))))))) to the both of you...I know you can do it!
OMG this picture breaks my heart , Brenda and Mary I know this has nothing to do with it. but it breaks my heart to see you both like this. I lost my home not in a fire but I lost it because we couldn't pay for it anymore. and it breaks my heart because my husband remodel the entire house all by himself, and all of our dreams are gone with our home. but we have each other and we also have health.
and we are going to recover and start all over again, I know that you guys will due the same. I will be praying for you and I know you will suceed you are both very talented. am a a big fan of yours love your work

OH NO.......I am so sorry to hear this. What a terrible thing to happen to such wonderful people. Remember that you will recover from this much stronger and know how much people care about you. That photo just broke my heart.
It is very sad to know that your efforts from years ago become ashes after a fire, but just remember that fire also purifies and make porcelain look at its best! Go on, I am sure that God has better plans for you and you will have a better shop. God Bles you!!
