Thanks to everyone for your advice of how to do this cake. It is 6 9x13 cakes stacked, torted and filled. The granite counter top is marbelized fondant. All cabinets, decorations, etc are hand molded fondant. This was for my daughters' school tea party last night. It took 20 hours in total as I could only do 20 minutes or 1/2 hour at a time. But it's done! Thanks for the hand holding.

I admit I am proud of this cake (trying hard to ignore all the mistakes! like lumpy and sagging sides!) as it came out how I envisioned it, which is rare for me! The mothers refused to cut into ito it and today at school, the teachers wouldn't let the girls eat it yet...they wanted to look at it for another day or two! smiling big...my girls are hoping they will open it tomorrow - this cake was great fun, and the longest cake for me, by far. Thanks to you all for your help and ideas.
