Edible Image Printer-Looks Too Pink
Decorating By sweetartbakery Updated 22 Jan 2010 , 9:36pm by icingimages
Hi. I just got an edible image printer. I got the Cannon IP3300 and the inks from eddiblesupply.com.... It works mechanically fine, but my image is all pinkish. it almost looks like one of the colors isn't working. for example, all the brown tones are pink, but the purple looks like it should, the black seems ok... any ideas?
nozzel check...what is that? the instructions just said to snap in the colors until they glow red, which they are.
I have it set on the paper setting recommended in the pack. not in front of me at the second but I think its Plain/High quality.
the bigger question is: How didn't I know that icingimages was on here? duh. did I get ripped off? oh geez!
No, you are fine. You just have a flow issue. Edible Supply's inks are fine. Go in to you printer properties. Under maintenance you will see something called nozzle check. Print it on regular paper. There will be one color that is not printing well, that is the cartridge that has the flow problem. LEt me know which one it is
