The brand new Sweet Treats cartridge actually has them, CC wrappers, as an option!! Really cute
got sent to this lady's website. it is so cool, she has a blank template for a wrapper and then you edit for your occassion in inskscape. it is limit less use. now if i figure out how to use my inkscape and scal i have it made. i want to make some for my christmas brunch.

go to bottom of page she has a tutorial sept 9, 2009 (i think). she also has file for blank and then you just decorate it.
I have downloaded lots of cupcake wrappers for the cricut and have used the SCAL programme to cut them on the cricut. It may be too late now if you wanted them for Christmas but if you pm me then I can contact you and email them through and give you any help you may need. Or you could try this site and you need Inkscape to convert them to use in SCAL http://www.iloveknk.com/2008/12/free-files-cupcake-wrappers/
I didnt know you could do that!?!?! I have been thinking about a crict, but couldnt convince myself to get it.... you might have sold me lol
Sweetheart, not to gush, but I LOVE my Cricut E so much, I do use it for all kinds of stuff not just cake, but I love it so much I don't know how I lived without it, I even got a little one that can stay with my baking stuff just for caking! If you want to see some cool videos of it in action I highly recommend http://www. mypinkstamper. com/ (no spaces) Ok PSA infomercial over and out
Briarview awesome, thank you for sharing and I'm sending you a PM
I actually bought Cricut Create first and use that for the cake decorating using icing but found it was not big enough (mat size) to do larger projects so I bought Cricut Expressions and I am very pleased with it. The bigger one I use for everything other than icing. Hope this helps.
If you can get the Expressions. I got the smaller one and wish I would have gotten the Expressions when it was on sale over Thanksgiving. I did my first cut last night. It's going to take some trial and error but I'll get there. I have the DVD and SCAL. I was excited it see the cupcake wrapper thing - I will have to research that - may be an excuse to use my current Cricut for paper and buy the Expression for fondant....hmmmm.
absolutely...get the Expression...it's worth every penny!!! Now if I can just get my fondant to the right thickness...I think I'll be set!
