I do believe calvin's expression and comment fits most appropriately!
have checked in daily as a way of decompressing (as I am now!) -- but just .... (see title of thread!)
and now it's time to scrub-a-dub-dougie so I can head out to church!

oh and PS -- click on the member spotlight and scroll down for an OLD picture of me if so inclined -- warning may inducing fainting LOL!
on pic -- recede hairline, add lots more gray to hair and wrinkles to face, then add enough pounds for a "proper double chin" (quote from Fiddler on the Roof -- yes, I AM a theatre geek -- can you id the song?)
Well, thanks for letting us know!
I was beginning to think you were in the witness protection program, because the thread asking where you went was deleted ~ twice!
Glad you're okay, just "a little" busy!
Man, I'm worn out just from reading about it, let alone doing all of it!!! Put your feet up, Doug, and eat some cake, for goodness sake!
Have tons of sympathy for you Doug!!! Totally get the worn out world.
Here's to a few extra minutes of quiet!
Glad to see you didn't drop off the edge of the world!! What would we do without you!?!?
He!! week sucks! Been through it myself (community theater) - love tech, dress rehearsals til 2 am! Good stuff!! It always seems to come together in the end. I bet your kids did wonderful!
If I Were A Rich Man....all day long I'd biddy biddy bum....if I were a wealthy man!
Think i will go off and make a Gin and Tonic after reading that - and go have a little lay down -
Nice to see you on the board again -
GLAD TO SEE YOU GOT TO EAT ON TUESDAY THE 24TH -

Yes, I can ID that song. "If I Were a Rich Man." I worked as part of the costume crew in college. I cried every night, because the play was just so powerful. "Sunrise, Sunset" was one of our wedding songs at our Catholic/Christian wedding.
My favorite modern musical is "Rent." I see it every time the tour comes to town. I guess I'm a theatre geek too.
update --
remember I thought I get home at 3PM today?
Well, make that 6PM
because 2 things came up both at church.
----
finally, a few brief moments to relax
(oh and this week is end of the 1st quarter at school -- can we say grades?)
____
and BRAVO to my fellow theatre geeks jonahsmom and adonisthegreek1 for IDing the song. -- yes that is a beautiful, powerful musical. Someday I want to do Tevye.
Aww Doug, you have at least 20 years till you are old enough to play Tevye!
Put your feet up, man!
Get some rest!
We'll still be here when you get some time to chat!
...maybe in ...June?
