I've made this recipe dozens of times, but the last two times I've made it, I've had awful results! The cookies spread out and totally lose their shape. Does anyone know why this might be happening? The first batch I made straight from the mixing bowl and the second I refridgerated overnight and then let the chill come off for a bit before I started rolling.

I am trying to use these cookies to teach a community ed class how to make cookie bouquets- but I'm going to look like a real loser if I can't even get the cookies right! Please help!!!

Have you changed where you get your ingredients? I know that there are certian brands of butter will cause my cookie to spread. Also if I miscount my flour my cookies will spread. I hope this help.

would love to hear how you plan to teach and what you are using for your class....are you doing everything in one lesson? Using RI or just fondant?
