I am going to purchase my forever turntable and want to know if there is one that is better than another.
Thanks
I bought a tilting turntable made by PME and I love it. It's really great for any piping/detail work you need to do on the sides of your cake, as well as working as a great regular turntable too.

thank you so much. I'm gonna go look at it now!
I second the no go on the Wilton one!! I spent $80 on it and I hate it!! Wobbles toooo much! I want a new (DIFFERENT) one. ![]()
I have the wilton trim and turn one, and no problems so far.
Yep, the one with a green trim around the edge and green in the middle, that is why I like it you can lock it into place.
I have used several Wilton models and they all stink. In the trash.
I replaced them with a Fat Daddio and I love it. Absolutely stable, can't even feel the thing turn, weighs a ton, sticks to the counter and won't slide or scoot. Someone else mentioned theirs turned too easily. I have not had that experience.
I have not used any other brands so can not make a comparison between FD and anything but Wilton. But really, any brand would be better than Wilton.
I like the Ateco one with the cast iron base best.
