Hi all! I was trying to remove a mark (pink icing) from a brown gumpaste bow by using vodka, but now it's been an hour and it looks even worse. Maybe it just hasn't dried yet (it feels all sticky and looks a bit shiny)? Any ideas? (The bow is already stuck on the cake though.) Thanks!

usually vodka, everclear, any type alcohol works for me. i use a soft viva paper towel.. put the alcohol on it.. dab and rub the mark.. then turn towel to clean area. more alcohol.. rub some more ..until i see it gone. then i place it in front of a small fan. sometimes , i have to rub a little powder sugar on that area. not alway.. hth i just keep turning the paper towel so as not to smudge any of the color that i am trying to remove....
