Ok today I got asked to make a wedding cake with chocolate transfers on them, ive never done one before, is there a video or really detailed instructions on how to do it. Also I guess I just go order the transfers online?

Hi,

I've always bought my transfer sheets online.

Just checked on youtube and there are a couple of videos showing you how to use transfer sheets.

Although it is aimed at decorating chocolates you can use the techniques shown for applying the chocolate to the transfer. For cakes, you need to measure around your cake (both the diameter and the height) and cut a strip that will fit around your cake and then apply the chocolate to the transfer. Once the chocolate is almost set, wrap the transfer around your cake.

It's really important to temper your chocolate as this will give you a nice shiny finish, otherwise it looks grainy and less appealing.
