I just got another order for a shoe cake.

What can I do to get my Fondant to dry faster?
is their any additive i can use?
Should I use fondant or gumpaste?

Gumpaste dries faster and harder. Or you could add some gum tex or tylose to your fondant, but I still prefer gumpaste for stuff that needs to dry hard.

i made a shoe out of gumpaste and i think it's far better to use gumpaste instead. fondant will take a lot longer to dry...and gumpaste is easier to work with.
