I thought making cakeballs was easy!!! icon_surprised.gif
I tried it and ended up having a sticky mess on my hands!! I had to wash my hands after every second ball I tried to roll!!!

They were delicious in the end...but not worth the effort!

I'm clearly doing something wrong! How do you guys get them not to stick to your hands??? icon_redface.gif

I'm not sure what you are using to bind your cake balls, but you may be using too much. I add JUST enough buttercream to bind the crumbs. Sometimes not even that if my cake is moist enough.

I use a small ice cream scoop to measure and wear gloves to roll. No matter how little you use to bind it is still a messy job.

Thanx - so it is NOT necessarily because I'm doing something stupid! icon_redface.gif
