Anyone one have wedding cake ideas or pictures for a cake with flames? I am making a wedding cake and the bride wants flames on the cake, she is a Harley girl! She doesn't want the typical orange and red. The intention is to tone it down a bit and make a 4 tiered cake with flames going up the sides but the colors will be blue and silver. The cake will be just white.

The only thing I can think of at the moment is to do the flames flat and have them swirl up one side of the cake (sort of like you would do a swag but flat) and then at the top tier do some more flames with the couples initials or something so that it looks like its written in "flame". Sorry, thats a tuff one!

Do a search for "flames" and look at all the cakes in the photo galleries, just adapt your colors to what she is using.........there are lots of cakes there. Good Luck!

Any of these patterns would work great, but certain ones would work better depending on if you're using an airbrush or just piping the design! Good luck and can't wait to see pictures! Sounds like lots of fun!

Thank you everyone! I didn't even think of blue waves. I will definitely post some pics when completed!
