I find the whole thing sooo sad. Everytime i see their pictures it breaks my heart for the kids. This surely can't be an easy thing for anyone in that family and to have to deal with it publicly would make it even worse.

From the latest I have heard, most of this is Kate's doing. She was having the affair with the body guard, didn't want to give up the show, so said Jon could have a honey on the side as well, as long as the show continued. Ugh. Disgusting human being. Did she really think no one would find out? Can anyone really blame Jon for any of it? It's horrible. I hope they lose their show.

I didn't hear any of that myself, but if it is true, that is really sad she would be so money hungry that she would put her kids through all of this nasty mess ... sheesh ....

my radio station the other morning was talking about this show and created up a song about the mom ... it was quite funny .. not that this mess is funny, but the song was ...

Some snippets from their EW interview...

Can life go back to normal after this?

KATE: I don't ever want to go back. I'm very comfortable at this point in front of cameras, I love it, I go into a studio and I'm like, Ahhhh. It's odd, because I would have never thought that of myself. But I'm enjoying very much what I'm doing.

icon_rolleyes.gif

Do you have a name for your hairstyle?

KATE: It's my attitude! Everybody wants it. It's work. I have very, very thick hair, so it's not going to work for everybody. I've seen people come through the book line with thin hair and it's just won't work. My hair stylist gets calls from all across the country.

OK since I've been a hairstylist since the early 1980's I feel as if I'm an expert in this category...........

*Do you have a name for your hairstyle?*............Well, I could think of a few but I'll keep it clean..........one word for that hairstyle........Disastor!!

One thing I have always insisted on from my employees is excellence in haircutting. Precision haircutting is the foundation to a successful hairstyle.
That is not a precission haircut. I haven't had 1 client ask me for that mess, thank goodness.

Her hairstyle is certainly...ah...different. Each and everytime i see the show i can't help but find myself staring at it. At certain angles i thought it was ok, but then from others it's like..'what the hell was she thinking". The way it sticks up in the back like a rooster...different.

I have a name for it... the reverse mullet. Sorry to anyone who enjoys that style, but I think it's atrocious.

HA HA!!! The reverse mullet! Now that's a burn!

Deb, I bet you aren't all that great a hairstylist! I dare you to come to El Paso and prove it...please...come and prove it...(that's not gonna work huh?). GO YANKS!!

Ya always gotta bring the Yanks/Sox rivalry up, dontcha?!!!
LOL Tita............now why would you want to cut your gorgeous long tresses like a rooster?

You know what that style reminds me of? When we were little my brother spit a mouthful of gum onto one of my sister's hair and my Mom couldn't get it out so she had to cut it out.

Well, my poor sister had to go around with 1" lengths of hair at her crown until she could get it straightened out by a hairdresser.

Maybe Jon spit gum onto Kate's hair and they had to cut it out! icon_lol.gif

Don't get me wrong I love *cutting edge* but only if it makes sense and has some style, not long in front and oooops........crew-cut at the crown.

I gotta look at the hairstyle again. I never liked it so I didn't understand why people were always commenting about it, now I realize they were making fun of her.

Umm, okay, just read an article that said, fans paid $100 to get an autograph and ask a few questions of Kate. Huh?

A $100?

Who is taking care of the children if she's out doing all this "touring"...SHE'S NOT EVEN A CELEBRITY!

Seriously?? Could she BE anymore full of herself?!?! Cheese and RICE! Her self-absorption is off the charts!

And I'm wondering, at what point in her future will she finally see herself for the [insert really bad word here] that she is? The same woman that she will have turned her poor unassuming daughters into.

I could be wrong but..... I could have sworn that in my People magazine this week she did an interview on Mother's Day at a Hotel in NYC? I would think as a mother of 8 kids she would at least want to be with her kids on that day!! Just goes to show what's more important.

I also read in an article that she spent the sextuplets b-day in a tanning salon. Lovely.

Yep, I read that one too. Interviews, book signings, tanning...all seemingly more important than actually BEING with her kids. I'm telling ya, she's too self-absorbed to see that her priorities are all out of whack. In that same People article she talks about how they can't stop doing the show because they've quit all their other work to do the show and they've come to rely on it. They have to do it for the kids! Waaahhh! Get a job!
THEY have created this mess they're in. Not the media. Not having eight kids. Jon & Kate's (or maybe it's just Kate's) greed got them where they are today. No sympathy here.

Seriously? "They've quit all their work"?

She's a nurse, he's in IT! Those are the most lucrative employment fields out there right now. That's absurd. She's really reaching trying to come up with excuses to justify what she's doing.

Did she get a boob job too? Cause I saw a pic of her and damn! Those puppies are looking way bigger that they did a few years ago!!!

Ummm, just voicing my opinion: that "body guard/security guy" isn't all that!!! He is looking like he could be the poster boy for "Just for Men" Touch of Grey!!!

The Insider did a little clip of Kate and her body language saying how she is more in-tune with the BG than with Jon.

And SNL did a thing on Weekend Update saying the TLC just signed them to new shows:

Kate + Four
&
Jon + Four

icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

And TLC is promoting their season opener as "Jon & Kate face each other and discuss their future" hmmmmmm......I wonder if it is all just a rouse to promote their show.

OMG!

If you notice, even five years ago, she still had that "Who the hell do you think YOU are??!!" look in her eyes.

And Tita, don't compare yourself to her, she had plastic surgery! Of course, I would have, too after sextuplets. I don't know what you look like IRL, but I already know you are beautiful on the inside. (sniff sniff)

You know, that used to be my DD's favorite show...but sadly I don't allow her to watch it anymore. She is a complete little mother and fell in love with the first two 1 hour specials because she couldn't believe their luck to have all those babies - she would love for me to keep popping them out! lol...It just seems to be getting worse and worse and I make darn sure I either "forget" or have her busy doing something when its on.

I will, in a pinch, let her watch the Duggar's show. We can't relate one bit to their life style, but at least it shows a loving family with values...and its a nice life lesson for her, that every family is different and thats OK!

I'm sure she will make me a grandmother 10x over!

I like the Duggar's for that same reason. I can't get how they don't dance though. I'd go crazy if I couldn't dance.

The dancing thing and saving the first kiss until marriage...now, I completely support people saving their viginity, but kissing?? I am also not interested in having that many children and dressing as they do, but I think they seem like they are lovely people and I definitely don't judge them for it. I'd rather be like Momma Duggar (sorry, her name escapes me right now) than Momma Kate, and that's why I have stopped letting my DD watch Kate - not the mother she needs to be!
