Marta, my DH just called me on his way to work to tell me that Mariano gave up back to back homeruns in the ninth icon_eek.gif Sorry 'bout that, I told ya I like Mariano even though I'm a Sox fan.

Happiest day in Red Sox Nation was when Manny was traded or left or whatever ya call it. He's definitely NOT a team player!

There are so many what if's in the J&K saga.

Rumor has it they have seperated as of February and live in different wings of the new house to allow filming go forward. If this is truth and not rumor and they mutually seperated then is he still cheating if he's found someone else to be with?

Rumor has it that Kate has been seeing someone discreetly and if that is fact and not rumor then she is just as wrong for it as John is even if she isn't caught.

All I know is that 8 little lives are in the mix. Regardless of where they are going to school things are going to be said to them by other students because they will repeat what is said in their own homes.

Divorce is hard enough on an every day out of the public spot light family, can you imagine what it will be like for these 8 kids if there is any fact in the rumors about affairs, not affairs, seperated parents, divorcing parents etc. with this family because of the glass fish bowl Kate and John have put them in.

We are watching the train move full steam ahead to a wreck that is going to be nasty and ugly and unfortunately we as a nation can't help but watch because it's so in your face and all over the news. I swear it's almost bigger news then the swine flu in some places.

It is cheating, because they have professed to be Christians and because of that, regardless if you are separated legally or just in deed (for lack of a better word), dating other people is considered adultery. I don't know that he's having sex with someone else, but even doing things like kissing or "fondling" another woman (or man) is cheating.

I think it's ironic that they had a big to-do vowel renewal in Hawaii to "reassure the children that we are committed to our marriage and staying together" and now this is happening. Even if it isn't true, Jon sure has given the media fodder to fuel this whole thing. I feel so sorry for the babies.

That whole renewal of vows was to quash rumors before these new ones started. Cheating is cheating! My motto is "If you can't do it in front of your spouse, you shouldn't be doing it!"

I don't think Jon wanted/thought this whole thing was going to get as big as it did (meaning the show). You can tell that Kate is the one who wants to be on TV, she's a bit of a drama queen. I have OCD issues with cleanliness and such, and a huge fear of frogs (don't ask icon_redface.gif ) but I don't show those in front of my kids. She is WAY to over the top.
If my husband wasn't thrilled about having cameras around, a TV show & our clean & dirty laundry aired in front of the nation, I would have to respect his decision. She seems to have a lack of respect for him & that will show up in the kids and whatever relationships they develop in the future.

Well he said in the last season finale that he was tired of it, and that he wasn't sure they were going to continue the show. The whole time Kate's interrupting him saying how much she loves it and wants to continue. As always, she got her way.

CAKE22: PRRRRRRRREACH!! I tell people that all the time. My DH seems to know exactly when I'm flirting with him, but he's clueless (or so he says) when another woman is doing. I tell him, "if you wouldn't do it, or SAY it with me standing right next to you, you're wrong".

You know, I'd hate it if it turns out to be true......but it seems like a publicity stunt to drum up interest for their new season. Kind of like the previews for the season finale last season made it sound like they weren't coming back. She's all over the tv the last two days, not denying it...not not denying it.....if you're going to go on tv about it at least say something one way or the other. I smell Hollywood coming from Pennsylvania.

If he did cheat, then shame on him. If this is bs just to get publicity, then shame on them both, along with their agents, TLC, etc.

Never thought of that Shelle, but you have a very good point. I was so annoyed about how they edited the previews for the finale. They spliced different scenes to make it like they were having marital problems when all they were talking about was whether or not they would continue with the show.

I think it's shameful to participate in something like because the children don't understand, "Hey, kids...Mommy and Daddy have become very materialistic and money-hungry, but those meany viewers aren't watching our show enough to bring in the vacations we need. Daddy and I are going to pretend like he's cheating and I'm going to pretend like I'm very distraught and affected by it so we can drum up some ratings, 'kay? We'll talk about your psychological counseling later. Go play, but DON'T GET DIRTY!"

They're screwing them kids up.

I just read that she makes between $50,000 and $75,000 per EPIDSODE!!! That's ridiculous. Anyone who tells me they're not doing it for money is full of it.

not only that but: dvd sales, book sales, appearances, etc.

See!!! This is why Octomom wanted to cash in too. Money talks and the hubby may walk!!! (sorry, that was way lame... icon_razz.gif)

You guys are cracking me up...tentuplets! icon_smile.gif. But seriously, cakes22, I was commenting to my DH at the end of the season before last how I thought all of this had completely gone to her head: she's working out like a mad woman (and she looks great, don't get me wrong here! There's nothing wrong with being fit and healthy), either tanning or spray tanning regularly - you don't get that kind of color in the winter living in PA, suddenly looking like a fashion plate rather than the frumpy girl her " stylish" husband used to have to shop for, and now they're living in 1.3 million dollar estate!?!? Of course we can see the money in her eyes! Maybe she's been getting all dolled up for her secret man. But all through last season he sat there like a deer in headlights seemingly afraid to say anything. I think the jig's BEEN up and they're still just milking the cow for all it's worth.

Anyway, I do find the situation incredibly sad for the children. And if Jon is cheating on her and not she on him, then shame on him. If this is mutual cheating or a publicity stunt, then I can't believe I've wasted time in the past year of my life watching such fakes! I really hope that's not it though.

I used to DVR their show, I loved it that much...now, I can't even stand to look at her. I just get so angry with the way she talks to him and even more angry at him for not putting her in her place. Those boys are destined to be just like him and it's obvious some of the girls are already like her.

I know I'm late but I just gotta jump in on this. I cant go into too much detail because I stopped watching them a loooong time ago. But all I can say is I'm sad for those kids, they will always be looked at as "those kids with the screwed up parents".

I guess you could say I quit watching because I have four children and Lord knows I wish we could have vacations thrown at us and new homes and "hired help" and a mini school bus to travel around in....me and my hubby work our a$$ off for the things we have and we STILL havent taken the kids to DisneyWorld yet (this summer hopefully LOL) But to have all of these luxuries because you popped out 6 kids??? I say get over yourself Jon and Kate

Your so right. She looks like she just stepped off the pages of Vogue Mommy or something. I wonder how much of the $$$ is being put away for the kids future?

Oh, could you imagine if they did get divorced? Jon would have to pay thru the a$$ for child support. AND if he did cheat, I am sure she would make him suffer.

If they both cheated, what a messed up household that would be for the kids. If Kate cheated, she just used discretion. Maybe while Jon was out partying until 2 in the morning, Kate was doing her own thing while the kids were tucked safely in bed. I imagine a 1.3 million $ home, there is a lot of places where you could and do whatever with whom ever.

Okay...have to admit...only watched it one time because she totally got on my nerves.

My sister used to love this show, but recently quit watching because she felt that Kate "de-masculates" her husband.

Was listening to a popular morning show last week and they were talking about them at length and one caller called in and said she was a mom and took her daughter to Kate's book signing.

She was standing in line when a 10 year old girl in front of her approached the table. Kate asked her where her book was and the girl said she didn't have one, but that she just wanted to meet her. This mom said Kate rolled her eyes in disgust and yelled, "Next!"....

This mom said she was so sickened by how Kate treated this little girl that they stepped out of line and left immediately. Good for her.

Very sad....

Wow! Appalling, but so believable because it sounds just like the Kate I'm used to watching on the show. Although, I really hope it's just a rumor that's been twisted as it gets told down the line and instead she smiled after saying, "Next!" and said, "Just Kidding!"

Why does that not surprise me?

She is almost unrecognizable from the Kate in the first documentary they did about the family. And there are dollar signs where her eyes used to be.

I've also heard stories like this in the past year. I've also heard about that she'll decide at the even to only do so many signings, then just leave with a line of people standing there. Canceling appearances at churches, etc to reschedule the big dollar ones. Crazy.

She'll get her come-uppins at some point in the form of:

1) she'll become the most hated woman/mother in America
2) Jon will leave her for a kind, respectful, decent, fun woman
3) her kids will hate her
4) her friends will decide that she is a phoneyboloney
5) all her scheduled appearances will be cancelled due to lack of interest

That's a great point tita & cakerator, she should give back to those who helped her out, but wait, who are we talking about again.....??? icon_razz.gif

Maybe she should go plant trees up north, cause the amount of paper plates that family uses is insane!!! Get off your a$$ and wash the dang dishes. Running your dishwasher daily is was less expensive and more environmentally friendly than killing trees ( i think, don't really know icon_confused.gif )

And, maybe if she let the kids wear the clothes more than once before washing she wouldn't have so much friggin laundry!!!

oh I feel a rant coming on......gonna stop now.... icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_wink.gif

You know it just dawned on me that in her Today interview she said, "Jon's adjusting to life in font of the camera so he's trying to learn how to conduct himself"...how long have they had that show? At least 4 seasons, not to mention the specials they would do when the sextuplets were first born. What does she mean he's "adjusting"...he's had plenty of time to get used to it. I think it's just another excuse.

well I'm not real sure what she says he is "adjusting" to .. whether you are in front of a camera or not, a 30 something year old man/husband/father does NOT go hanging all over young single women in a bar at 2 a.m.! I don't care who you are ...

I know they do hold the garage sale every year or so, and all the proceeds go to the childrens hospital the kids were born at, and also I think to st. jude. ( i know it was something like 5000 bucks last year that it brought in.) The kids this past Christmas also got to go shopping and buy gifts which went to a kids at the hospital. So they are donating, and teaching their kids to donate also.
