need to make a cake for Hanna Montana for a 4yo and High School Musical for a 6yo, One cake two ideas. I'm having a hard time because of the colors the six year old definetly wants the red yellow black scheme the 4yo wants purble pink scheme...needs to serve @50 thanks !!!

maybe one tier black with red and yellow accents and another pink with the purple and aqua..... gonna be hard no matter what.....Good luck

You don't say what size/shape this cake will be.
What I have often done w/a request like this is actually make 2 smaller cakes - usually single layers and decorate them as each requested then set them close together on one cake board. Almost always is a very welcome ideaicon_smile.gif

I would use kakeladi's suggestion of the two smaller cakes on one board, and to tie them together use fondant cut out musical notes between and on the two cakes. Hope that makes sense and helps a little bit...
