Yay Maisie good for you :D I will declare my spare room a cake room when it is sorted properly and Mr Roxy stops dumping everything in there instead of learning where it actually goes lol.

AMy SIL is 36/7 and still living at home blowing her cash on big cars and expensive holidays..... I don't think the age is the issue it's the attitude.... sort of a caculated 'why should I leave- I get way more for my money staying here and they will have to leave me the house in the end as they know I'll have nowhere else to go if they don't' I find that sickkening! Partly jealouly that I work hard to pay a mortgage and partly as I have a real issue with selfishness and manipulation it turns me into that old cartoon Taz character!!!!! lol

It's this one on Ebay Maisie:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Flower-Leaf-Wedding-Silicone-Fondant-Cake-Lace-Decorating-Tool-Cupcake-Mould-M-/151350518367?pt=Uk_Crafts_Cake_Decorating_MJ&hash=item233d31a25f#ht_5032wt_1396

Its a pretty deep mould so you have to bake it for like 25 mins then leave it in the room to cool for a good 20 mins else it's really brittle and breaks trying to get it out!!

at 45 mins a batch it takes ages to make enough usable pieces so I went and bought a 2nd.... sorta wish I'd bought 4 to be honest!

I just used scissors to cut it up in random places to make the little flowers, I really liked how they turned out I'm really happy you did too icon_smile.gif

You are not encouraging Maisie to buy things are you Gray!? I would never ever do that :-D

My sister is 40 and still at home...the most selfish spoilt brat in the world with a tongue like ice

My brother is going to be 30 next year and decided when he was younger he was staying at home and not having any kids. He has bought the house for my mum and buys her anything she wants but he does get waited on hand and foot.

I just bought some cake lace off ebay too! I thought I'd try it out before buying more. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silicone-Flower-Lace-Fondant-Embossed-Mold-**********-Cake-Decorating-Mould-Tool-/251651372499?pt=Uk_Crafts_Cake_Decorating_MJ&hash=item3a979735d3

I also bought a silicone mat for rolling out my fondant etc. And a chocolate melting pot for cake pops and what not. And that's it.

I am 27 and live at home! It's horrific. I did my undergrad and had a lovely job. Then I did my Master's and a job wasn't so forthcoming. I got one after two years and now I am saving. :) I also most certainly do not get served anything!

Thanks Kathy

. . . and thank you for the welcome too ! - I am not familiar with siany so will back track a few of the 1438 pages to see if I can pick up the thread. Thanks for the info. Chris

I can't remember the exact question but I think it was about the separate allergens box? My understanding is it had to bow be provided in the ingredients list but emphasised with a bold print if it's an allergen and not in a separate box. But I think that's more for shops. As you will be a first point of contact for collections or deliveries you can tell the person face to face that it contains x allergen. Speak with your EHP they will clarify.

Edited to add. You can do a 'Contains' list but not the box on the front. It's all very contradictory.

Blimey Nannys on form today

Maisie the mould! You must buy it for yourself for xmas :D  I love it! I also have the KD Brooch mould (will probably be using it for elvis belt) and love the KD crochet one I got at CI.

I am swapping to pro gels because nanny says they are good. Once ive used all my pastes up anyway :)

Well I got started on the bus cake yesterday and need to get it finished today but have a sickly Amber :( , Took her to school yesterday, walked in the door saw the heaf and said I am now taking her home :(  she looked so poorly. He just gave me a look like I was a loon :? . I have to say though she was as good as gold and let me get on so I now have the bus carved and covered, wheels are on, everything marked out and the first strip of colour on :D . Today all the fiddly bits!

Ive then a two tier colourful hatbox style, a single tier hatbox and of course Elvis bear  ...im pretty sure there may be another in there somewhere too :o . Went from no orders to manic in about 48hrs lol.

Re the allery advice.....Ive not had anything through about it but would imagine they will be sending advice to all registered businesses. I can't imagine they will be expecting people to just have a google about it if they are planning on enforcing it so I will just wait and see about that one :)

Right...off to The cake room i go!

The allergy thing comes in on 13th dec. if you google food allergy test then go to the site that ends food.gov it'll take you to the compulsory test.

ARight I think I'm caught up.

Grey, Tidd's and Nanny are in the naughty step for trying to get Maisie to buy stuff, I have to agree though Maisie, you should treat yourself :)

Lizzy is currently trying to take a nap on a washing line following Maisie's recommendation

Kathy's head hasn't fallen off

Roxy's buying things

Yeah that's all I got, 4 pages and that's all I can remember. In fairness though I'm still ill and now also have quite a sore leg for yesterday's contrast MRI. Oh the joys of the nhs lol

AOmg Gray I had that exact mat on my watch list! Same seller and everything! It's a sign! So I bought three! :-D (had 5% off on two or more!)

Yours is pretty too smysha, that one currently occupy a the space grays just vacated on my watch list!

Tiddy I'm going to get the Karen Davies one with my Christmas money. :-)

I'm pretty sure Nanny's been in the naughty corner for months so tiddy and Gray won't be lonely there!

I was 16 when I first left home, out of five of us, the oldest to leave was 20. My BIL still lived at home when my MIL and then FIL died, he still lives in the house that my MIL wanted to be sold and shared between the eight of them. He doesn't look after it either. His siblings all pay rent or mortgage on their own homes and he's sitting pretty in a house that's starting to fall down round him. It's sad to see cos it used to be a lovely house.

Haha Siany most men would run and hide but I quite like grays way of dealing with a crying woman. A nice hug and a spot of retail therapy! Works for me! :-D

Lizzy you should buy yourself a little something to cheer yourself up with all the terrible building problems you've had!

Gray go on, buy it, you know you want to! Can't you hear it calling you?!

What's your way of dealing with poorly women then Gray? Hmm, I wonder if anyone can guess! Wouldn't be a hug and a spot of retail therapy would it?! :-D
