hmmm... I guess it is a bit more textured with deeper bits compared to the fishnet one..... a stretch indeed tho!! ha ha  those deeper bits are a pain tho as it looks dry and you start taking it out only to find a gloopy bit in the middle! arg! back in it goes!

Have you tried the flowers tho? I think they look amazing and would be so light I really wanna get some but her mats are soooooo expensive!

AHello you chatty lot. :-)

Tiddy I think you might just get a few orders for that cake, it's really good and perfect timing.

Love the bride and groom Jean and 2 hours is speedy to me!

Aw Nicola, too cute, the ladybird looks like one I used to have on as mug but my favourite is the bee.

Cake looks yummy chezzabelle, I usually use milk chocolate for my ganache, sometimes milk and plain but mostly just milk. How did you get on with it?

I can't even remember anything else. I'm in such a bad mood today.

Looking forward to seeing your frozen toppers Jean. I'm planning on making cupcakes with snowflakes for Leah's party, apart from edible images I don't think I'd be able to do much else.

AOh whoops! Sorry Chezza, although that dark choc cake looks divine! I do a home cooked meal too and we usually put a movie on but on the odd occasion he does say he's booked somewhere which is nice! Drooling at the thought of steak and cake... I'm such a man! Haha

Jean YOUR toppers are beautiful! ❤️ Oops, hehe!

Lizzy I was watching CB on the craft channel and I thought she mentioned the 3D mata are where you have to double up on the lace mix or make it thicker or something along those lines where she said it would help them set in positions when they dry, like the butterflies looking all realistic? Is that what you mean? If not ignore me!

Haha!  My husband's friend did something similar Gray - until he got to work to find out he had his wife's t-shirt on which had lace around the neck!  Wouldn't been too bad but it was in a garage workshop!

Oh Maisie - don't be in a mood - I've just learned that the traffic is at a standstill and I'm leaving work in 10 minutes - I truly hope it's not another 5 hour journey.......

I tried a lovely alcohol free mojito in the summer, I do drink but drive a lot so often don't drink at gatherings, my oh's cousins wife made it and it was delicious and I honestly don't think alcohol would have added anything extra to it.

Jean those toppers are amazing, they're really detailed and can't believe you did them in two hours that's great.

Sugar your love bugs are so cute. Can't wait to see the finished cake.

Kelsey lovely to see you. I don't envy you and your wax tomorrow. Are you making hubby a cake for his birthday?

Chezza lovely cake, the brownieness of it sounds delicious. I agree with Maisie though I always use milk chocolate in everything, I am not a dark chocolate fan at all.

Maisie hope you're ok.

We're meant to be going out for valentines day but other half is yet to book something, I'm just hoping not everywhere is booked up.

Chezza the cake turned out great your hubby will love it.

Petitecat love the wedding cake and the bride and groom topper is lovely, I don't think the cake needs anything else it's perfect as it is. Your going to be busy then with all those frozen toppers as well as two cakes, your daughter is very lucky to have a mum that will do all that for her birthday.

Sugarluva those toppers are the cutest, they are so lovely.

Lizzy yum jaffa cake cake sounds delish, I love jaffa cakes. Re the 3d cake lace mats, you use one two layers of cake lace and I think you mix the normal soft lace with the precoloured ready made lace mix so that you can shape them so they stand up instead of being flat and soft. You can also put the leaves etc on wires to make flowers I saw Claire Bowman do it on the create and craft channel. I think there is a you tube video where she shows you how to use the 3d mats

Hi Kelsey glad to hear your business is doing well, happy birthday to hubby for tomorrow.

Gray and Kathy I'm lmao over you t-shirt stories.

Maisie hope your bad mood has lifted.

Loubee hope hubby manages to book somewhere.

We haven't bothered with valentines for years we just normally cuddle on the couch and watch a film after a nice tea. I asked Mr Roxy yesterday if we were getting presents for each other as we don't normally bother but I still ask to make sure. He said no then today walked in with a lovely bunch of flowers, dairy milk chocolate bar, shower gel set, a pink glass cake stand and some square cardboard cupcake cases I had been looking at the other day and a lovely card. Said he just wanted to surprise me, How sweet is that. Of course I haven't got him a present so said I would make him his favourite cake, soft chocolate sponge with milk chocolate ganache.

AOh dear maisie, that's not like you, what's up lovely?

I didn't think anyone else said twonk Gray! I imagine it sounds better in a lovely Irish accent :-D

Just to make you feel even better Gray, hubby regularly manages to go to work with his flies undone. I'm *fairly* sure it's accidental! :-D

Your cake looks delicious Cheryl!

Thanks kelsey, that's interesting to know. I still think though it's pushing it to call them 3d.

I haven't tried the flowers gray, as you say they're so expensive, I think unless I have a specific need for it I won't be trying it!

AThat's so sweet roxy, they are lovely sometimes aren't they :-)

We don't really do valentines either, but my mum bought us some lovely steak last week so I'm doing that. Yum.

That diet doesn't sound like much fun for either of you kelsey :-( I'd be there snaffling potatoes too, I would hate to have to give them up!

APetite cat.... I love the toppers....I really can not do figures, so anyone who does them I am in awe of :) Sugarluva...I like the Ladybird.

Kuushi, I went on an elimination diet last year for my Crohns....the anti histamine diet....nothing processed, nothing cured~ so no; bacon, sausages, cheese, yoghurt, soya, bread (no yeast), alcohol ~, no strawberries, mushrooms or spinach..no tea, no coffee.....I was allowed chamomile tea or water, fresh cooked meat, chicken, potatoes and green veg......I lost a stone in a fortnight....and a second stone over the next 4 weeks!!! It nearly killed me...I couldn't eat out....so couldn't socialise.....it relaxed after the first 3 weeks...so I was then allowed home made cake, as no preservatives and all citrus fruits... mascarpone cheese and Philadelphia cheese . Very restrictive.

AOmg that's so similar to this diet. The only way I can explain it is that if the food contains any sugar even 0.0000001of a gram it's not allowed as the candida yeast feeds on it. If when in raw state it doesn't have sugar but when it's broken down in the gut it does then it's not allowed. It's so tiring!

You will become an expert in reading the ingredient lists....and then surprise yourself at what is in everything!!! Soya is in a LOT of things!!

Kelsey that diet sounds awful feel sorry for you and hubby.

Yes they are lovely sometimes Lizzy, it's always nice to be shown that your thought of isn't it.

It was a really lovely surprise Loubee especially because he actually got me things I had been looking at as we were walking  round the shops and I said were nice, showed he actually pays attention, sometimes.

Well the cake for Mr Roxy is baked and cooling and the ganache is setting up, tea is in the oven so now to hoover up. I might get a sit down sometime tonight.
