I've really been slacking off lately. Slow loading, not working, people complaining about what comments they get, etc. etc. Just been discouraged all around.

I mentioned a while ago that it was going to be a nightmare when the uncommented section was under construction. I have been doing a couple of pages every day, starting on the last page always & it is going to be quite a while before we catch up but.........we can do it.

It really depends, I've seen it down to under 5 and a few more than twelve but usually it's kept under 12.

You all are so awesome. Kathy's last post stated down to 24! That's more than 50 pages from when she first posted the tally last week and that is even with the ton of pictures that get uploaded every day.

A lot of these cakes were in some of the contest. Maybe that's why there isn't any comments. I think you can save them in your favorites when they are in the contest, but you can't comment on them.

I find I go thru the contest galleries twice. Once to comment as they're posted then again to vote.

I have been on vacation and had limited access to the computer - I am home now and ready to comment, BUT - I went to page 12, why are there cakes on there from 2007?!?!?!?!?!?!? And pages of cakes from one person going as far back as Jan 08?

I am one of those people that have only one comment on my cake. My cake was not an over the top, professionally decorated cake. It was for my grandson and it was the one with Power Rangers on the top. I am just a beginner and it was my 3rd cake. Almost 100 people looked and it but no comments - I suppose it was just ordinary and not worthy of comment.

My buttercream was almost flawless, I did a very good job with the fondant cutouts and it was a large cake. The figures were toys but I have seen cakes with silk flowers, real flowers, balloons, etc. so I didn't think that the figures would be a problem. Two 16" ovals at the bottom with a two layer 6 inch at the top

I feel that I will never post another picture because if it isn't a WOW cake no one likes it or comments on it. My DH says not to take it to heart too much that I am not a professional and should just forget about it.

I know how the people feel when they go through all of the effort, time and dedication to make a cake and no one likes it.
