I'm coming to help, too!

I've really been slacking off lately. Slow loading, not working, people complaining about what comments they get, etc. etc. Just been discouraged all around.

I just spent a little under 2 hours commenting. WOW! What a mess! Even if you are not a gallery support member please comment on photos on the front page and in the recently uploaded section. We need all the help we can get.

I mentioned a while ago that it was going to be a nightmare when the uncommented section was under construction. I have been doing a couple of pages every day, starting on the last page always & it is going to be quite a while before we catch up but.........we can do it.

now I understand what happened. as a new gallery supporter, I was confused. how many pages do you usually have?

It really depends, I've seen it down to under 5 and a few more than twelve but usually it's kept under 12.

Since its working so slow I have been trying to comment on photos on the home page to hope they never get to the uncommented

I too have been working on it and have totally enjoyed seeing all the impressive work!!

I've been working on comments all morning.

I did over a page this morning, and I'll get back to it this evening..... We'll get them on e way or another !

Reduced it by 20 pages basically overnight and that's with all the additions! WAY TO GO!

You all are so awesome. Kathy's last post stated down to 24! That's more than 50 pages from when she first posted the tally last week and that is even with the ton of pictures that get uploaded every day.

I worked on comments this morning...back at it again!

I know people have been busy cause I'm not seeing the same cakes as yesterday.

It's frustrating to see that ALOT of these cakes are marked as favorites, and yet they are still not commented on.

you know that's a good point and one thing I don't like about the contests.

I find I go thru the contest galleries twice. Once to comment as they're posted then again to vote.

I have been on vacation and had limited access to the computer - I am home now and ready to comment, BUT - I went to page 12, why are there cakes on there from 2007?!?!?!?!?!?!? And pages of cakes from one person going as far back as Jan 08?

You're right. I hadn't noticed that before................ 2007?!?

I gave up on page 12, most of them were the same person and I didn't think anyone would like me commenting on all their pics. I'm on page 8 LOL

it seems like the more we do, the further back we are going! before page 12 was only 2008 now 2006?!?!?

I am one of those people that have only one comment on my cake. My cake was not an over the top, professionally decorated cake. It was for my grandson and it was the one with Power Rangers on the top. I am just a beginner and it was my 3rd cake. Almost 100 people looked and it but no comments - I suppose it was just ordinary and not worthy of comment.

My buttercream was almost flawless, I did a very good job with the fondant cutouts and it was a large cake. The figures were toys but I have seen cakes with silk flowers, real flowers, balloons, etc. so I didn't think that the figures would be a problem. Two 16" ovals at the bottom with a two layer 6 inch at the top

I feel that I will never post another picture because if it isn't a WOW cake no one likes it or comments on it. My DH says not to take it to heart too much that I am not a professional and should just forget about it.

I know how the people feel when they go through all of the effort, time and dedication to make a cake and no one likes it.
