I have a bear pan I keep trying to bake a cake in and everytime I use it the bear just kind of caves in. I am using the wasc should I be using a different recipe. It always seems okay until I pull the heating core out then it jus caves in. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you letting it cool on it's side before removing that core?
Seem to me I only used the big one once or twice....I usually use the miniicon_smile.gif

I've made this cake several times and only had one to flop on me. I use a packaged cake mix such as Duncan Hines along with a pound cake mix. The one the flopped was from scratch. I'll never try that one again!!! I have to agree with the other post, that making sure it's cool enough is important. I'd have to blame the texture of the batter though.
