I was making fudge tonight and got the sugary, marshmallowy mixture on the cook top and it was close enough to the burner that it just crisped up in a nice burnt sugar mess before I could wipe it up.
We tried the glasstop cleaner with the little scrubber pad, but that isn't getting it all up. Does anyone know a trick that doesn't involve a metal spatula and scratchs on the nice, pretty, new stove?

I would try a very hot kitchen towel. Just let it sit on top of the mess kind of like soaking. Then try and see if it loosens up any.

go to the hardware store and buy yourself a scraper with razor blades it works like a charm and doesn't scratch the flat top surface
