Cream cheese (at least Philly) comes in two package sizes. the small one is 3 ounces. The larger, is 8 ounces. If you have the larger one, cut cut it almost in half. A little extra won't hurt the recipe.

that is a very small recipe if it only calls for 3 ounces. Normally it would take 4-5 eight ounce packages for a full size cake.

I know I'm making a baileys cream cheesecake also and it doesn't make sense for the pumpkin one. Weird!!! Thanks for replying.
