Ok I have a recipe for a cheesecake that is calling for 1(3.00ozs) of cream chesse. How the heck much is that? Thanks It's the cheesecake factory's copy kat pumpkin cheesecake recipe. Thanks in advance!!!!!!
Cream cheese (at least Philly) comes in two package sizes. the small one is 3 ounces. The larger, is 8 ounces. If you have the larger one, cut cut it almost in half. A little extra won't hurt the recipe.
that is a very small recipe if it only calls for 3 ounces. Normally it would take 4-5 eight ounce packages for a full size cake.
I know I'm making a baileys cream cheesecake also and it doesn't make sense for the pumpkin one. Weird!!! Thanks for replying.
