Anyone Awake? I Need Help!

I just finished these mini cakes and I'm hoping I did'nt mess up by adding the scrolls on the side.
The customer wanted simple cakes, the only requirement was they have a light blue cross on the top.
The first pic is the sketch I drew, the second is 3 of the 6 cakes.
I did tell her I would decorate each a little different, which I did, the only thing I did different from the drawing was the white piping on the side.
Did I do too much, or are the cakes still "simple"?

The scroll work is simple and understated. There is no way the customer will not love these - they are beautiful.
